Saturday, November 15 Jeanine Tesori’s BLUE
For the first time ever, Jeanine Tesori's opera includes choral singing. Blue has been performed a dozen times since its premiere in 2019 but never with the element that both Jeanine and librettist Tazewell Thompson envisioned from the beginning: the human response to the tragic story of a Harlem family, brought forward by choral singers.
